En la presente edición del Festival, rendiremos homenaje al maestro LUIS ALBERTO CALDAS, el mejor bailarín e instructor de casino callejero que ha dado nuestra ciudad, quien fue parte del cuerpo de instructores e instructor master de la Compañía Artística Rucafe desde sus inicios, y que falleció el pasado 31 de Marzo en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali. La Compañía Artística Rucafe exaltará la vida y obra del master "LUCHO CALDAS" en honor a su abnegada admiración y dedicación por el folclor de nuestro pacífico colombiano, la salsa y el casino.
