Martin Scorsese's Casino 1995 Review / Discussion / Commentary: Better Than GoodFellas? Casino is a 1995 American epic crime film directed by Martin Scorsese, based on the nonfiction book Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegas by Nicholas Pileggi (who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scorsese). The movie stars Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci, with a supporting cast including James Woods, Don Rickles, and Frank Vincent.
