But recently Billionaire Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta also bought a lot for $270 million. In questo video metteremo mano su due Epiphone Casino, modelli iconici nelle versioni cherry red made in china e natural made in corea.
Entrambe le chitarre hanno bisogno di un upgrade e un setup completo: alla cherry red sostituiremo la cordiera con una Frequensator per un look vintage e un setup mirato a migliorarne la suonabilità.
La natural, invece, subirà modifiche più estese, con la sostituzione delle meccaniche, dell’elettronica compromessa, dei pickup (con nuovi Lollar) e del capotasto, migliorando così affidabilità e qualità sonora.
Durante il video, esplorerò le caratteristiche costruttive di entrambi i modelli, facendo un confronto tra le due versioni.
La cherry red ha mantenuto il suo suono morbido e vellutato, mentre la natural è diventata un vero strumento di alto livello, con un suono raffinato e una splendida separazione tra le note.
