Trabajadores de Casinos del Río se manifestaron hoy por las calles de capital rionegrina para reclamar a las autoridades provinciales y municipales que se autorice la apertura de las salas de juego en aquellas ciudades que como Viedma llevan más de 100 días sin casos de coronavirus. Los empleados están cobrando un porcentaje de su sueldo a cargo de la empresa, a la vez que el gobierno nacional afronta parte de los salarios a través de los denominados ATP. Igualmente para muchos empleados, que reciben en sus ingresos un adicionales por propinas, que en algunos casos significa el 50 por ciento de sus sueldos ven una caída adicional. Una trabajadora de la empresa, que se identificó como Valeria y delegada por sus compañeros, indicó que "lo único que estamos pidiendo es que nos dejen trabajar". También se reclamó por la falta de respuestas de las autoridades municipales y provinciales a las a las notas enviadas por la empresa y los trabajadores, e incluso la falta de observaciones sobre el protocolo elaborado con vistas al regreso de la actividad. "Es una actividad que está cerrada en toda la provincia y sabemos que va a haber localidades en las que no van a poder abrir como Cipolletti o Roca, pero bueno en Viedma, Las Grutas y Choele no hay casos, así que por favor la idea es que nos dejen trabajar que sea al menos en las ciudades donde no hay casos hace al menos cien días", señaló la joven. De las salas de Casinos del Río dependen 90 trabajadores y familias en Viedma y suman unas mil en toda la provincia.
